Background & Journey
Two Decades of Resilient Systems Engineering
My engineering career spans the full evolution of modern software. I began architecting distributed
conferencing systems serving hundreds of thousands of users at IBM, managed mission-critical financial
infrastructure for multi-billion asset managers at IP Capital Partners, and built early probabilistic
machine learning engines in 2004.
Over the last decade, I led multi-platform mobile solutioning—managing cross-functional squads across Web,
Android, and iOS at global enterprises like AB InBev, architecting native mobile and Flutter/Dart systems,
building Globoplay from initial R&D into a national streaming platform serving tens of millions of viewers,
and modernizing long-standing production codebases at Zello and Disney+.
As a former guest lecturer in mobile architecture at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), I
emphasize code cleanliness, systematic testing, and pragmatic business value. Today, through Keypad DS, I
specialize in deploying sovereign, local AI systems—self-hosted on-premise or in private clouds with complete
data sovereignty—paired with staff-level mobile solutioning across Android, iOS, and Flutter.
